Deteriorating render had exposed the substrate of Bondi’s decorative public seating. The challenge was to repair the structures while respecting the character of the mosaic installation and its place in the foreshore.
A considered response.
Custom rendering and reinstatement of damaged sections brought the seating back into a consistent finish. The repair approach followed the existing forms and finishes to retain the installation’s visual identity.
